On October 19, 2021, at 09.30 hours, Secretariat to the Labour Minister Mr. Suthep Chitayawong assigned the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare’s Director-General, Mr. Niyom Songkaew, to chair the working group’s meeting to provide safety officers in the workplace following the Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment Act B.E. 2554 No. 2/2021. The meeting considered results of using the job matching system between graduates and business establishments that do not have safety officers at work, and information of students who use the Department of Employment’s job matching system, together with problems and obstacles. The meeting took place at the Prof. Nikom Chandravithu meeting room, 5th floor, Department of Labour Protection and Welfare, Ministry of Labour.
