Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong paid homage to the sacred objects of the Ministry of Labour on accepting the position of the 12th Permanent Secretary of Labour, following the Royal Command announcing the appointment on September 14.
On October 1, 2021, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr.Boonchob Suthamanaswong entered the Ministry of Labour to pay homage to the ministry’s sacred objects consisting of San Thao Mahaprom Thewarit, San Por Pu Chai Mongkhon, Phra Phut Chinnarat, Phra Phut Sutthitham Bophit, and San Por Pu Suchin Promma, at the Ministry of Labour’s grounds. He also paid homage to Phra Phut Chinnarat in his office on the 7th floor, Ministry of Labour’s building. The Ministry of Labour’s Inspector-General, Ms. Bubpha Rueangsud, gave a welcoming and congratulations along with senior executives, government officials, and officials from the Ministry of Labour, who also joined in giving a warm welcome.
Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Ramkhamhaeng University and a Master of Public Administration from the National Institute of Development Administration. He had previously held important positions such as the Director of the Central Administrative Office, MNRE, Director of the Environmental Research and Training Center, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Environmental Quality Promotion, Deputy Director-General of the Royal Forest Department, Chief Inspector General of the MNRE, Director of the Thep Ratanavejchanukul Foundation, Consultant to the President of the Pidthong Lang Phra Foundation and Advisor to the Mae Fah Luang Foundation. He currently holds the position of Permanent Secretary of Labour. He has received decorations such as the Border Service Medal, the Red Cross Commendation Medal, the Emperor Mala Medal, the Pramaporn Chang Phueak Insignia, and the Order of the Crown of Thailand.
“Thank you to all civil servants. I am new here, but this ministry is probably the eighth ministry for me. Having a lot of experience, there is both good and bad. The good thing is to see diversity, and the bad thing is that relationships may not be enough. I will try to perform my duties at my best capabilities for the remaining time, passing on authority to all of you to make the most of it. Therefore, please ‘use me to your advantage,’ I’m willing to do anything if it’s right,” said Mr. Boonchob.
