Nakhon Sawan Social Security Officer Ms. Wattana Kerdpetch, gave an opening address. The Ministry of Labour’s Inspector-General said that the implementation of the project to create electronic employer files aims to change the filing of employer registration documents from paper to electronic form. The transformation will be beneficial to clients. He thanked the Social Security Office for giving importance to raising the level of service for employers, employees, insured people, and the public, for quick and easy access to the services. Creating employer files electronically across the country will be an important mechanism for changing the work processes of the government to move towards a digital government.

Nakhon Sawan Social Security Officer Ms. Wattana Kerdpetch said that Labour Minister M.R. Chatu Mongol Sonakul assigned the urgent policy in 2020 to accelerate the workforce transformation. He also delivered an important policy to upgrade electronic services to become a digital government, for the people to access services with convenience, speed, and transparency, and adhere to good governance. The Social Security Office has adopted guidelines for improving employer services for insurers by implementing the project to create electronic employer files. It is a project that aims to reform the system and operational methods. In the past, documents were stored in paper format. Currently, there are 926,183 employer files nationwide, with the Nakhon Sawan Social Security Office having 3,705 files. The physical documents cause storage issues, and the documents are prone to damage and loss. Therefore, the project aims to transform document storage to be up to date on data, use empirical evidence in electronic forms by leveraging technology innovation in data management, which is called “electronic file.” Staff will be able to access the system with ease and efficiency, to provide services to employers, employees, insurers, and the general public, with convenience and speed. The initiative is a response to the 20-year national strategy, strategy 6, to balance and develop the public management system.
