Office of Labour Affairs in Berlin holds quality of lives improvement project for Thai workers in Germany

Office of Labour Affairs in Berlin holds a training to help Thai workers prepare for skill standard test for holistic health promotion therapist: Western spa aromatherapy level1.
 
Mrs. Suchada Cheecharoen, Minister Counsellor (Labour Affairs) of the Royal Thai Embassy’s Office of Labour Affairs in Berlin, presided over the launching of the training, as part of the quality of lives improvement project for Thai workers in Germany, and presented a certificate for participating workers.
 
The training was a result of cooperation between Office of Labour Affairs in Berlin and Ministry of Labour’s Department of Skill Development. It aimed to develop skills and heighten massage/spa standards of Thai workers, who will then be more recognized and confident in providing services to customers.
 
From June 1 until July 4, 2012, skill standard test for holistic health promotion therapist: Western spa aromatherapy level1 was held in Knüllwald, Rheine, and Mannheim. About 30 workers undertook the test.
 
The training has objectives to enable participating workers utilize their knowledge most efficiently, have an honest and dignified job, make money for themselves and family, and boosting image of Thailand.
