Office of Labour Affairs in Hong Kong talks of labour missions during local radio interview

On April 19, 2013, Lieutenant Commander Wittawat Khuprasert, Consul on Labour Affairs, was invited to join the “Siam Meung Yim” programme, which is set to be broadcast on Metroplus AM 1044 radio on May 21 and 28 from 5pm-6pm.

 

 

On April 19, 2013, Lieutenant Commander Wittawat Khuprasert, Consul on Labour Affairs, was invited to join the “Siam Meung Yim” programme, which is set to be broadcast on Metroplus AM 1044 radio on May 21 and 28 from 5pm-6pm.

 

On the programme to be broadcast on May 21, Lieutenant Commander Wittawat was interviewed about roles and missions of Office of Labour Affairs in Hong Kong. He also mentioned about history of the International Workers Day, Thai labour movements in the past. He also told Thai domestic assistant about being insured under Article 40 of the Social Security Act.

 

On the programme to be broadcast on May 28, Lieutenant Commander Wittawat was interviewed about acid reflux disease, which is mostly found in Thai people and workers Hong Kong.

 

The “Siam Meung Yim” programme is broadcast live in Thai on radio and internet (http://www.metroradio.com.hk).  It can also be listened on facebook: Siam Meung Yim.

 

“Siam Meung Yim” is the government-run programme, aimed at providing knowledge, information and music entertainment to audiences. Guests are invited in each programme to give knowledge to audiences.
