Office of Labour Affairs in Riyadh paid a courtesy visit to Ambassador of Abu Dhabi

        On 31 August 2010 at 10.00 am.-11.30 am. Mr. Chaiyot Yuusab, Minister Counselor (labour) and CPO1 Mr. Bancha Chuenchom, Labour Counselor of Office of Labour Affairs in Riyadh paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Somchai Jaranasomboon, Ambassador of Abu Dhabi, UAE. on the occasion of his ascending at Office of Labour Affairs in Saudi Arabia, Riyadh. In this regard, the Ambassador mentioned about good collaboration between Royal Thai Consulate General in Abu Dhabi and Office of Labour Affairs in Saudi Arabia, Riyadh. He also appreciates in establishing Office of Labour Affairs in UAE. in order to help protect Thai labour’s rights and explore Thai labour market. Currently, there are many mega-construction projects, namely mass rapid transit projects, and other construction projects. In this way, there are approximately 10,000 Thai workers working in UAE, 4,500 of them working in Abu Dabi.
