Office of Labour Affairs in Taiwan negotiates compensations for Thai workers killed in car accident.

 

           

On July 4, 2012, Minister Counsellor (Labour Affairs) met with a driver who killed two Thai workers, Mr. Boonchuay Iamsaard and Mr. Saming Sawangsuk, in a car accident to negotiate compensation for their family members. He also met with their employers to enquire about assistance to the workers.
 
Mr. Boonbhuay and Mr. Saming worked for Mitsutoshi Asphalt Industry Co., Ltd. in Chiayi county, Taiwan. They were sent to the island city together by Li Tung International Co., Ltd, a job placement firm, on August 26, 2010. They were killed in a car accident on Sunday 10th June, 2012, at 12 pm. while riding bicycles back from work to their accommodation.
