Office of Labour in Japan joined IM Japan’s campaign on working safety

On 5 August 2012, Office of Labour Affairs in Japan led by Mr. Sucaht Sangurai, Labour Cousellor and Miss Chitlada Bumrungchit, translator went to join the campaign on working safety and trainees’ livelihood in Tokyo and neighboring provinces at Midori Community Center in Sumida Tokyo. There were 50 Thai trainees and 50 Vietnamese trainees joined.
In this event, there were educational activities regarding traffic, regulations on how to use bicycle, and traffic signs. The polices and IM Japan lectured on safety at work by giving sample pictures of plant operation and bicycle ride as well as opened an opportunity for trainees to voice their opinions on how to prevent the dangerous in Japanese language. After that IM Japan granted awards to winner of the working safety poster contest in which one Thai trainee awarded. Moreover, the president of IM Japan granted a certification to trainees who passed the Japanese language proficiency test of N2 and N3 level in which there were 3 Thai trainees awarded. During the break, group of Office of Labour Affairs get onto the trainees and asked them to pay attention to training as well as delivered newspaper and Thai magazines to them.
