Permanent Secretary of Labour Visits Educational Institutions in Safe Education Program 2019

          On June 11, 2019, at 13.00 hours, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol visited the safety and health education activities for 2019 at the Rattanakoset Auditorium, Piyamaharachalai School, which participated in the Safe Education Program together with the Ministry of Labour’s Department of Labour Protection and Welfare since 2017. The school has received many awards at the provincial and national levels and was also honoured by the Senator Gen. Adul Saengsingkaew who delivered a speech and met with the students and staff. In addition, Director of Piyamaharachalai School Mr. Sirichai Trairat, said that following the school’s participation in the Safe Education Program since 2017, the school has implemented the scope/objectives/indicators and has received various awards at the provincial and national levels. Today, he said the school was is honored by the Permanent Secretary of Labour’s visit along with a committee of lecturers from the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare and Exedy Friction Material, to educate the school, which is a great opportunity and honour for the school.
 
          The Department of Labour Protection and Welfare has set the target for Nakhon Phanom province to invite 30 educational institutions to participate in the activities; there are currently 39 educational institutions in Nakhon Phanom province. The team of lecturers will have a form of presentation for the school to implement safety systems then survey safety risk points and use the problems found to guide educational personnel to make improvements to bring success, which can be extended as a model of safety education.
