On October 6, 2021, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned Assistant Minister from the Prime Minister’s Office performing duties for the Ministry of Labour, Mr. Pornsak Charoenprasert, to preside over the award ceremony for the Thailand Labour Management Excellence Award 2021 and Award for Outstanding Model Establishment in Occupational Safety, Health and Working Environment at the Provincial Level, 2021. The occasion took place at the Office of the Bank for Agriculture and Cooperatives meeting room, Sisaket Province. Advisor to the Labour Minister Mr. Thanakrit Jirivipakorn and the heads of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour in Sisaket Province also participated in this ceremony. Organizations that have passed the assessment criteria of the Office of Labour Protection and Welfare in Sisaket Province received this award, including 21 branches of the Bank for Agriculture and Cooperatives. Mr. Pornsak thanked the establishments for giving importance to the safety of employees in the workplace and service users. Such organizations will be a model for occupational safety, health, and working environment to other business establishments and follow Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin’s policies concerning workers, employees, and businesses in terms of workplace safety. The efforts will also help companies overcome the COVID-19 situation.
