On November 3, 2018, at 14.00 hours, Labour Minister H.E. Police General Adul Sangsingkeo was chairman of the meeting on progress of the project to walk/run across the Mekong from Nakhon Phanom – Khammouane Marathon on Sunday November 11, 2018 at the 3rd Thai–Lao Friendship Bridge. Nakhon Phanom Provincial Governor Mr. Siam Sirimongkol also joined the meeting which took place at the Sang Sing Kaew Conference Room on the 3rd floor, Charoen Khun Ying Wanna Siriwattanapakdee Building. The Labour Minister said that the walk/run across the Mekong from Nakhon Phanom – Khammouane Marathon 2018 was the first walk/run of Nakhon Phanom which has received many responses. Thus, it was requested that all concerned agencies welcome the participants to boost the reputation of Nakhon Phanom and receive merit together as the revenue will be donated to the Sri Kod Boon Foundation to help people with disabilities and the elderly. The Labour Minister asked for preparation in various areas such as traffic planning, division of responsibilities, adjusting the area tents, electrical system maintenance, water and restroom management, a clear, transparent reimbursement plan, a registration point and a location map for the services. service to running area, management on the run, release, water stations, rout, traffic and security, waste management, medical and nursing, emergencies, rest stations, restrooms including evaluations for example.
