“Pol.Gen. Adul” Leads Civil Powers Initiative for Public Services in Honour of King Rama 9

            The Labour Minister led the Ministry of Labour’s executives and personnel to make merit in honour of late King Bhumibol Adulyadej, at Ladkrabang Industrial Estate and took part in the ministry’s civil power activities. Participants included formal and freelance workers around Minburi, Ladkrabang and Nong Chok, Bangkok, who made merit and provided labour services to the public in the local area.

            On October 12, 2018, Labour Minister H.E. Police General Adul Sangsingkeo presided over the merit-making ceremony to 10 monks, to commemorate His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej. The ceremony took place at the Ministry of Labour’s foyer on the ground floor. Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Jarin Chakkaphark, the Ministry of Labour’s executives, officials and personnel also took part in the occasion.
            The Labour Minister then presided over the opening ceremony of the 4th “Ministry of Labour Gathers Civil Powers’” event for formal and freelance workers around Minburi, Ladkrabang and Nong Chok, Bangkok, which took place at Kulthorn Kirby PCL in Ladkrabang Industrial Estate. In his speech, he said that today, the Ministry of Labour had implemented government policy on utilizing civil mechanisms to create the nation’s future, whereby at the 4th “Ministry of Labour Gathers Civil Powers’” event, labour services were provided to formal and freelance workers around Minburi, Ladkrabang and Nong Chok, Bangkok, to encourage people to work properly at all ages, receive income, protection, social security and other appropriate benefits for their livelihood and better quality of life.
            Pol.Gen. Adul and executives shared words of encouragement to merit-makers around and in front of the company, The event host many interesting activities provided by several units within the Ministry of Labour including an exhibition of units within the Ministry of Labour, health services, insurance applications, payment under Section 40, games/quizzes providing labour-protection knowledge, advice on homeworker funds, professional advice for freelancers, applications for registration of homeworkers, advice for domestic/international work, haircutting services and distribution of souvenirs for company employees and freelance workers for example.
