“Pol.Gen. Adul” Orients Young Workers Feeding Students into the Quality Workforce

              The Labour Minister oriented young workers to prepare students before entering the working world, promoting learning outside the classroom, develop knowledge and change mindsets to step into the quality workforce.

 

 

           On April 1, 2019, Labour Minister, H.E. Police General Adul Sangsingkeo chaired the opening ceremony of the orientation program for preparation before entering the workforce, at the Jompol P. Pibulsongkram Conference Room, 5th floor, Ministry of Labour. The Labour Minister said that the government attaches great importance to human resource development, by requiring the development and capacity building of people as one of the six strategies of the 20-year national strategy, especially among students who will be the main driving force of future development. Thus, students must have the skills, knowledge and attitudes that in preparation to enter the working world as quality or super worker, that is a skilled worker who can apply technology that is useful for work. In 2019, the Ministry of Labour aims to promote over 50,000 young workers to have jobs during the school holidays throughout the country, which will prepare the workforce of the future and encourage students to spend their free time during school holidays and have an income to pay school fees and reduce family expenses.
           Pol.Gen. Adul thanked the executives and relevant agencies for seeing the importance and for the orientation today to prepare young workers before entering the workforce. He also praised parties for promoting the “Pracharat Ruam Palang – Creating Young Workers”, by giving students the opportunity to learn and have experience in the development of knowledge skills, safety at work, savings and social security, which will enable students who participate in the program to apply the knowledge gained as a guide for their future careers.
