September 11, 2025, at 13.30 hours – Mr. Pongkawin Jungrungruangkit, Labour Minister, together with Mr. Jakkrapong Sumetchotimetha, Advisor to the Labour Minister, Mr Sutthikiat Weerakitpanich, and the Ministry of Labour’s Spokesperson (politics affairs), paid respects to the sacred sites of the Ministry of Labour. These included Phra Phutthasuthithammabophit, Phra Phutthachinnarat, the Chai Mongkol Shrine, the Thao Maha Phrom Thewarit Shrine, and the Chinnapromma Shrine, on the occasion of his departure from office. Mr. Samat Pattamasukon, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour, together with senior executives, civil servants, and staff from all affiliated agencies of the Ministry of Labour, presented flowers to express their gratitude and encouragement. The farewell ceremony took place at the main hall of the Ministry of Labour.
On this occasion, the Minister of Labour expressed his appreciation to all staff members for their dedication and teamwork in advancing the Ministry of Labour’s missions in line with his policies. He said that during the 2 months and 7 days that he served in the role, although the period was short, they were able to drive forward policies, restructure the Ministry of Labour to be more modern and responsive to global changes, and ensure that the Ministry of Labour is ready to support Thai workers as a key force in attracting investment and strengthening Thailand’s competitiveness on the international stage.
Afterwards, the Minister of Labour and his team held an informal gathering with executives, civil servants, officials from affiliated agencies, and members of the press. The farewell atmosphere was warm and heartfelt, reflecting strong bonds of respect and camaraderie.
