President of the Disability Rights Network provides information to “Gen. Adul” on money fraud for disabled people within 15 days.

               On 20 September 2018, H.E. Police General Adul Sangsingkeo, Minister of Labour, welcomed Mr. Preeda Limnontakul, President of the Network for the Protection of the Rights of the Disabled on the occasion of his visit to discuss the case which Mr. Preeda submitted a letter to the National Human Rights Commission asking to investigate the violation and unfair treatment of persons with disabilities under Section 33, which provides for the employment of persons. However, it appears that the employment figures do not match the rights of persons with disabilities, and Section 35 of the fraudulent training to the disabled caused damage up to 1,500 million baht per year at the meeting room, the Minister of Labour, 6th Floor, Ministry of Labour building.

 

           Major General Adulay added that the Ministry of Labour has set up a fact-finding committee by assigned Mr. Viwat Tanghong, Deputy Director General of Department of Employment as a chairman, Deputy Director-General of Department of Employment and Deputy Director-General of Department of Skill Development as community, to discuss with the President of the Network for the Protection of People with Disabilities for the information and the facts which will be useful to check the system of procedures of the relevant agencies within 15 days.
           Mr. Jarin Chakkaphark, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Labour, together with Mr.Vivat Tanghong, Deputy Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Labour, press conference with the media in case of Mr. Preeda Limnontakul, President of the Disability Rights Network came to provide employment information to the disabled, Section 33 and 35 with the Ministry of Labour. The fact that the Ministry of Labor invited Mr. Pridi Limonnakul, President of the Network for the Protection of the Rights of People with Disabilities, to provide information today is an important witness.
