Thai Labour Solidarity Committee met Ministry of Labor to follow up the increase in minimum wage

            H.E. Police General Adul Sangsingkeo, Minister of Labor welcomed Mr. Sawit Kaewkarn, Chairman of the Thai Labor Solidarity Committee (CSC), and the delegation met to discuss the policy on labor. The offer includes: The minimum wage adjustment is fair in line with the International Labor Organization (ILO) principle and wages must be equal throughout the country. The Provincial Sub-Committee for the consideration of Provincial Minimum Wages National committees must be set up from the relevant sector. Independent Academic Team has more triplicates, must have a wage structure, and adjust the wages every year. Price control measures must be in place including resolve the problem of migrant workers, human rights abuses, pushing for convention No. 87 on Freedom of Association and No. 98 on Combinations and Rights of Negotiating at the Cabinet of Ministers.
