The Office of Labour Affairs in Malaysia attends the Thailand Trade Exhibition 2010

The Office of Trade and Investment in Kuala Lumpur joined hand with the Office of Labour Affairs in Malaysia and other agencies of the Royal Thai Embassy Malaysia to organize the Thailand Trade Exhibition 2010 which was held on 20-22 August 2010 at the Mid-Valley Mega Hall, Kuala Lumpur. The exhibition aimed to promote Thai products, foods, tourism, and occupation so that they are known and become popular in Malaysia as well as to promote Thailand’s image and creditability. In this exhibition, there were over 60 Thai products Boots which was held by both Thai and Malay entrepreneurs. There were also Thai dancing art performance, paper umbrella painting displays, and Thai food cooking demonstration. The exhibition saw over 31,000 participants attended.
    In this exhibition, the Office of Labour Affairs in Malaysia held up a Thai massage Boot where Thai massage entrepreneurs in Malaysia had provided 6 Thai massages therapists in the Thai massage demonstration. It appeared that this activity received very well response from the Malay people. There were many interested people queuing up for the service from early morning during the 3 days exhibition.  From the discussion with participants both from Malaysia and other nations, they really liked Thai massage. For those who tired the service for the first time, they said that they would take the Thai massage service again. Therefore, this demonstration that aimed to promote Thai massage, which was Thai occupation and culture, ends up with success in the line with its objectives.
