On 17 February 2017 at 08.30 hours, Labour Minister General Sirichai Distakul visited the Southern Advanced Technology Training Institute to acknowledge its progress in welding and agricultural product (rubber goods) curriculums. The Department of Skills Development’s Director-General Mr. Teerapol Koonmuang welcomed and guided the visiting committee around the Songkhla Skills Development Institute Region 12 in Mueang district.
On the 14th February 2016, the Singapore Labour Office arranged training for the 12th batch of domestic labour volunteers at the Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore. A total of 130 people applied for the training.

On 22 February 2012, Mrs. Wannaporn Chu-amnart, Minister Counsellor (labour) and the labour affairs called on KOILAF Training Center located in Kyung Ki Do, Korea. On this occasion, the Minister Counsellor also gave a lecture on labour law and guideline for working in South Korea as well as gave a moral support to 107 E9 Thai workers. In addition, the Minister Counsellor also discussed over the training project held on March with Mr. Kim Un Jig.
