The ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community Blueprint is intended to be a part of the ASEAN Human Development Agenda (AHRP) under the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community Blueprint. Encourage youth and labor force in ASEAN to be active and interested to improve their skills to keep up with technology.

           On August 12, 2018, at 08.00, General Prayut Chan-o cha, Prime Minister and his wife, H.E. Police General Adul Sangsingkeo, Minister of Labor and Wife, Mr. Jarin Chakkaphark, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Labor, and executives at Ministry of Labor signed a salute to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit on the occasion of the 86th Birthday Anniversary of the Queen in the reign of King Rama 9 on August 12, 2018 at the Grand Palace.

            On August 12, 2018, at 07.00, General Prayut Chan-ocha, Prime Minister and his wife, H.E. Police General Adul Sangsingkeo, Minister of Labor and Wife, Mr. Jarin Chakkaphark, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Labor and the Executives at Ministry of Labor attended the ceremony to make merit 243 monks and novices present to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen In the reign of King Rama 9 on the occasion of the 86th Birthday Anniversary on August 12, 2018 at Sanam Luang.

          August 10, 2018 at 09.30 am, H.E. Police General Adul Sangsingkeo, Minister of Labor led the Executives, civil servants and officials from Ministry of Labor signed a memorandum of congratulation on the occasion of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit on the occasion of the 86th Birthday Anniversary of August 12, 2018 at the ground floor, Ministry of Labor to honor the Queen. In addition, the Ministry of Labor has repared a place to sign the blessing include the image of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen in the reign of King Rama 9 as enshrined in the government both central and regional and the book of blessing for the staff of the agency and the official came to greet the Queen throughout August, 2018.

          Mr. Ananchai Uthaiwattanachep, Director General of the Department of Labor Protection and Welfare revealed that the Department of Labor Protection and Welfare has developed a loan scheme for good quality of life according to the King Philosophy to allow savings cooperatives in business establishments and state enterprises to borrow money through labor funds. This is to be done to employees who are members of savings cooperatives in business establishments and state enterprises with low income used to relieve the burden of informal liabilities, credit card debt, as well as to develop their own income and family.

          On February 19, 2018, the Labor Fund Executive Committee has approved a loan.

          Gen ADul Saengsingkaew said The JSCCIB gave 6 groups 12 issues include

1. Guidelines for potential labor utilization to reduce the shortage of labor.

2. Set up Database of demand and supply to solve the shortage of labor.

3. Immigration policy to prepare for Thailand 4.0 to scope of work of foreign workers.

4. Improve relevant laws and rules such as Protection of workers on board and Progress on labor protections.

              On 10 September 2017 at 19.00 hours, Labour Minister General Sirichai Distakul chaired the event to welcome representatives from all 10 ASEAN nations of the first organizing committee for the 12th ASEAN Skills Competition which Thailand will host in 2018. Phetchaburi Provincial Governor Mrs. Chatporn Rasadorndusadee delivered the welcome speech alongside Permanent Secretary of Labour M.L. Puntrik Smiti, the Department of Skills Development’s Director General Mr. Teerapol Koonmuang and the ministry’s executive committee. The event took place at the Royal Dusit Ballroom at the Dusit Thani Hua Hin Hotel in Cha-am, Phetchaburi.
