Police General Adul Sangsingkeo, held a press conference to announce the National Labor Day, in the year 2018, along with Mr. Jarin Chakkaphark, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Labor and the executives of the Ministry of Labor, at the meeting room of the 5th floor of the Ministry of Labor, said that the government had designated May 1 as “National Labor Day”. Police General Adul Sangsingkeo, Minister of Labor, visited the PIPO Control Center for Fishing Vessels in Samut Sakhon Province to monitor the Iris Scan System of fishery workers, aquatic processing, and continuous sea fishing at Pier organization, Samut Sakhon, said that the Iris scanning to store the identity of migrant workers: Sea fishing, processing, aquatic processing and marine fisheries continuous 22 coastal provinces. This is an important mission that the Prime Minister has assigned to the Ministry of Labor to collect data by scanning the retina of approximately 175,500 foreign workers. Samutsakhon has the largest number of about 70,000 people. There are 24 sets of operations to carry out scanning of the Iris in 7 provinces with many foreign workers to meet the deadline.
