MOL Joins Skills Development Committee Meeting

          On August 26, 2022, at 13.30 hours, The Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong, assigned Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Wannarat Srisuksai, to chair the Skills Development Committee Meeting No. 5/2022, at the Somchart Lekalawan Conference Room, 10th floor, Department of Skill Development, and through Zoom Meetings. The meeting considered the request for labour skill standards under Section 26 of the Skills Development Promotion Act B.E. 2545 in 2 branches. Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Labour Office Joins Provincial Social Welfare Promotion Committee Meeting

          On August 25, 2022, at 13.30 hours, the Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Provincial Office of Social Development and Human Security organized the first meeting of the Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Social Welfare Promotion Committee, which took place at the Bueng Phraram Conference Room, 1st floor, Building 4, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Provincial City Hall. The meeting considers the draft Social Welfare Plan of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province No. 4 (2023 to 2027) and the draft implementation plan of the Center for Corporate Social Responsibility Promotion for the Business Sector of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province for 2023. The Deputy Provincial Governor of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Ms. Nuchanart Prateepateenant, chaired the meeting. Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Provincial Labour Officer Ms. Rattana Thongklab also attended the meeting.

MOL Heads of Government Agencies in Phichit Province Meet

          On Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at 09.30 hours, Phichit Provincial Labour Officer, Mrs. Prathumphon Prempridi, presided over the Ministry of Labour’s heads of government agencies in Phichit Province meeting no. 8/2022 (11th meeting for the 2022 fiscal year). Heads of government agencies under the Ministry of Labor and officials attended the meeting to summarize the August 2022 performance and the issues driving the Ministry of Labour’s missions and Phichit Provincial policies. The meeting also jointly determine the plans to implement activities for September 2022 under the Ministry of Labour for Phichit Province. The occasion took place in the meeting room at the Phichit Provincial Labour Office.  

Permanent Secretary of Labour Joins MOL Computer System Management and Procurement Committee Meeting No. 6/2022

          On August 25, 2022, at 13.30 hours, Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong, chaired the Ministry of Labour’s Computer System Management and Procurement Committee Meeting No. 6/2022, with relevant agencies who attended the meeting via Zoom. The meeting took place at the Prasong Rananant Meeting Room, 5th Floor, Ministry of Labour. The meeting considered the project and procurement of computer equipment by requesting support for the central budget for 2022. It considered the Labour One Stop Service project by the Ministry of Labour, the database management and service platform, the development project for informal workers, the Ministry Security Operation (MSOC) project, the Disaster Recovery project by the Office of the Permanent Secretary of Labour, and the project to improve the information system to support the issuance of electronic books. Labour Minister Witnesses Signing to Expand Thai Workers to the South Korean Shipbuilding Industry

          On August 25, 2022, the Labour Minister, Mr. Suchart Chomklin, witnessed the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between Mokpo Science University and the Association of Private Colleges of Technology and Vocational Education of Thailand for cooperation in expanding the Thai labour market in the field of technicians in the shipyard industry in South Korea. Nakhon Pathom Labour Office Joins Narcotics Control Committee Meeting

          On August 16, 2022, at 09.30 hours, Nakhon Pathom Deputy Provincial Governor, Mr. Komsan Charoenaj, joined the Narcotics Control Committee Meeting No. 2/2022 (for the central provinces), which took place online on Webex Meeting. The occasion took place at the Apiromruedee Meeting Room, 4th floor, Nakhon Pathom City Hall. The Ministry of Interior’s Chief Inspector-General, Mr. Triphob Wongtrirat, chaired the meeting. The Ministry of Labour’s Inspector-General, Mr. Puma Thamakul, also joined the occasion. Chief Inspector-General Joins Subcommittee Meeting for Monitoring the Performance of Drug Prevention and Suppression in Central and Southern Provinces and Bangkok

          On August 16, 2022, at 09.30 hours, the Ministry of Labour’s Chief Inspector-General, Mr. Phuma Thammakul, joined in the monitoring and follow-up meeting of the Subcommittee for Monitoring the Performance of Drug Prevention and Suppression No. 3/2022 (central provinces) and No. 4/2565 (southern provinces and Bangkok). The meeting took place online at the Ministry of Labour Inspector-General’s office, 8th floor, Ministry of Labour.           The meeting monitored the performance according to the Narcotics Prevention and Suppression Action Plan 2022 in the central and southern provinces and Bangkok. Labour Minister Assigns Assistant to Commence 29th National Skills Competition at the Regional Level for the Central Region

          On August 11, 2022, at 13.30 hours, the Labour Minister, Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned Assistant to the Labour Minister, Mr. Surachai Chaitrakulthong, presided over the closing ceremony of the 29th National Skills Competition, at the regional level, in the central region. The Department of Skill Development’s Director-General, Mr. Prateep Songlamyong, delivered a report. The occasion took place at the Novotel Marina Sriracha and Koh Sichang Hotel, Chonburi Province. The competition will be held between August 3 to 5, 2022, divided into four provinces, namely the central provinces hosted by the Chonburi Institute of Skill Development 3, the northeastern provinces hosted by the Ubon Ratchathani Institute of Skill Development 7, the northern provinces hosted by the Phitsanulok Institute of Skill Development 9, and the southern provinces hosted by the Surat Thani Institute of Skill Development 11.
