MOL Spokesperson Visits Songkhla to Follow Up on Labour Missions to Drive Provincial Development

          On June 9, 2022, at 09.30 hours, Mr. Wannarat Srisuksai, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour, as the Ministry of Labour’s Spokesperson, Mr. Wannarat Srisuksai, joined the Board of Directors meeting on the direction of the organizational health promotion plan no. 5/2022 via Zoom, at the Songkhla Provincial Labour Office meeting room. The meeting acknowledged a report on the progress of the 4G organization project for happiness, understanding, preparation, and bridging the gap. It also acknowledged a report on the project’s progress to develop partners to drive health organizations in the Federation of Thai Industries and approved the draft organization health promotion plan (5-year master plan for 2023 – 2027 and the operational plan for 2023).           Mr. Wannarat also chaired a meeting with government officials and officials of the Songkhla Provincial Labour Office at the Songkhla Provincial Labour Office meeting room. Labour Minister Emphasizes Thailand’s Role at 110th ILC For Quality Employment, Labour Rights, and Economic Revival Post-COVID-19

          On June 9, 2022, the Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin delivered a statement at the 110th International Labour Conference in Geneva, Switzerland. Assistant to the Labour Minister Mr. Surachai Chaitrakulthong, Assistant Minister from the Prime Minister’s Office, performing duties for the Ministry of Labour Police Major General Nantachat Supamongkol, Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong, the Ministry of Labour’s executives, government representatives, employer, and employee representatives also joined the event.           Mr. Suchart said that he congratulated the ILO for organizing this conference as a good sign showing revival. Most importantly, he thanked Mr. Guy Rider for his leadership and dedication during his tenure. Before the COVID-19 situation, Least Developed Countries (LDC) faced challenges in many ways. Labour Minister Assigns Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour to Join Press Conference on Policy-Driven Cooperation and Guidelines for Reforming Primary Care System in Bangkok (Big Rock 1) under the Ending Pandemics Through Innovation Program

          On June 9, 2022, at 14.30 hours, the Labour Minister, Mr. Suchart Chomklin  assigned Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Ms. Bubpha Rueangsud to participate in a press conference on policy-driven cooperation and guidelines for reforming the primary care system in Bangkok (Big rock 1) under the Ending Pandemics through Innovation: EP1 program to prepare and support the epidemic situation at the national level and emerging diseases. The initiative will result in a concrete drive. It will lead to upgrading access to essential health services and improving the quality of medical care for people to have sustainable safety and health security by adhering to public service as the center.             On June 8, 2022, at 13.30 hours, Samut Songkhram Provincial Labour Officer Mrs. Rapasa Panikul joined the meeting to follow up on operations for the event to carry on the cultural traditions of the Mae Klong River group for 2022 in the Muaeng Sam Nam City, and the Red Cross Event for Samut Songkhram Province in 2022. The meeting considered foreign NGOs’ applications for permission to establish regional offices in the country and operate in other countries to renew their licenses to operate. MOL Working Group Organizes Activities to Meet the People at the Regional Level for the 2022 Fiscal Year

On June 1, 2022, at 09.30 hours, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Ms. Bubpha Rueangsud presided over the Ministry of Labour’s working group meeting on activity projects to meet the people at the regional level for the 2022 fiscal year. The meeting took place at the Prasong Rananant Conference Room, 5th floor, Ministry of Labour. The meeting informed the resolution of the meeting to monitor the Labour Minister’s Order No. 2/2022 on March 23, 2022, which approved permission for the Office of the Permanent Secretary of Labour to organize activities to help workers who have suffered from occupational challenges. The initiative involves integrating cooperation from agencies under the Ministry of Labour. The meeting presented mission-based labour service to citizens by organizing regional activities, assigning the Strategic and Planning Division and the Office of Inspection and Evaluation to be responsible for implementing the preparation. MOL Joins Labour Welfare Committee Meeting No. 7/2022

          On May 31, 2022, at 09.30 hours, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Ms. Bubpha Rueangsud chaired the Labour Welfare Committee Meeting No. 7/2022 via electronic media. The meeting acknowledged companies’ compliance with the Labour Welfare Committee’s orders. The companies included Ting Feng Packaging (Thailand) Co., Ltd. with 46 related employees and Exspring Capital Public Company Limited with one related employee. It also considered the claims under Section 120 of SY Electric (Thailand), which had two related employees, and Central Family Mart Co., Ltd., which had one related employee. PM Delighted that Thai Workers Are Sought After by Israeli Employers

          On May 30, 2022, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong, to encourage 213 Thai workers before working in the agricultural sector in Israel under the Thailand-Israel Cooperation on the Placement of Workers (TIC). Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Wannarat Srisuksai, the Department of Employment’s Director-General, Mr. Pairoj Chotiksetian, the Department of Employment’s Deputy Director-General Ms. Bunyawee Khuaphan, and Mr. Santi Nantasuwan, and the Ministry of Labour’s executives also joined the occasion at the training room for job seekers before traveling to work abroad, 11th floor, Bangkok Social Security Office Area 3. Mr. Boonchob revealed that Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin gives great importance to Thai workers traveling to work abroad.
