Assistant to the Permanent Secretary of Labour Commences Workshop to Expand Knowledge from the Labour and Social Protection Network Meeting

          On September 21, 2022, the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong, assigned the Assistant to the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Samat Pattamasukon, presided over the opening ceremony of a workshop to expand knowledge from the Labour and Social Protection Network (LSPN), at the Novotel Sriracha, Chonburi Province. The Assistant to the Permanent Secretary of Labour said that the workshop is a good opportunity for the Ministry of Labour’s staff with foreign affairs and relevant officials to meet and build a working network and spark further knowledge related to the LSPN and APEC meetings in the future.
          In addition, the seminar content consisted of representatives from various external agencies, who joined to educate the Ministry of Labour’s staff. This would help participants understand APEC and Thailand’s role more comprehensively. It is considered an important stage for Thailand, especially on the agenda that Thailand will host the APEC Meetings in 2022.
          The Ministry of Labour co-hosted the Labour and Social Protection Network (LSPN) meeting during the 2022 APEC meetings in Thailand, between May 11-12, 2022, at the Shangri-La Hotel Bangkok. The workshop was organized to expand the knowledge from the LSPN network meeting during September 21 – 22, 2022, to extend the knowledge related to the APEC LSPN network meeting and prepare for future operations.
