Department of Labour Protection and Welfare let all discuss the ways to add ATM for fishing labor

          Mr. Ananchai Uthaiwattanachep, Director General of the Department of Labor Protection and Welfare revealed that the meeting between the Department of Labor Protection and Welfare commercial Bank and the Fisheries Association of Thailand on January 31, 2018, to set up an ATM installation to provide adequate use to marine fisheries workers. The meeting agreed with the Fisheries Association of Thailand to gather locations, rafts and docks with the need to install ATMs so that commercial banks could consider installing them in places where they were not enough. The Department of Labor Protection and Welfare will organize a meeting to clarify the law on prepaid wages in sea fishing, hand over the money to other people from ATMs, Invitation to the Department of Fisheries, Department of Employment, Fisheries Association, Shipowners, Head of the Inland Waterway Notification Center (PIPO) and the related department to attend. It will begin on February 27, 2018 at the National Center for the Remediation of Marine National Interest, Region 3, Trang Province.
         Director General of the Department of Labor Protection, said further Fisheries Association of Thailand has been reported that most members use the Savings Bank service because of the minimum opening account. Bangkok Bank and KASIKORN BANK have three languages: Myanmar, Cambodia, and Laos. In addition, the Association has proposed the Department of Labor Protection and Welfare and the labor protection of 22 provinces in the coastal attendance of the Provincial Fisheries Association to promote the law and listen to the problem. As well as inviting relevant agencies to discuss the guidelines for filing a copy instead of using the actual document to request the vessel to enter – out, lest the employee’s documents are lost and the installation of communication tools. For such a proposal, The Department of Labor Protection and Welfare was set up to determine how to proceed.
