Gen. Adul ordered to help the heirs and brought the ashes of the Thai fishing boat in 2015 from Indonesia to Thailand

           Mrs.Petcharat Sinauy, Deputy Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Labor as a spokesman for the Ministry of Labor revealed that H.E.           Mrs. Petcharat added that from the Department of Labor Protection and Welfare The Ministry of Labor stated that on May 17, 2015, Ms. Sooksan, the sister of the deceased has filed a petition at Thammasat University in Surin to ask the government to bring the body of Mr. Somkiet back to Thailand. The Ministry of Labor, by the Department of Labor Protection and Welfare followed up the employer to pay the heirs of the deceased. An unpaid wage of 100,000 baht, the heirs received on 13 June 2016. Later, the heirs and the staff of the LPN Foundation coordinated to the Department of Consular Affairs to contact the funeral, but there is no money for travel and funeral.
         “On May 9, 2061, H.E. Police General Adul Sangsingkeo, Minister of Labor has ordered the Department of Labor Protection and Welfare to investigate to assist the deceased’s descendants in order to obtain legal benefits and protections. The Surin Provincial Labor Protection and Welfare Office talked to Ms. Sooksan and the heirs of the deceased about the funeral. The descendants of the Department of Labor Protection and Welfare will cooperate with the Consular Department to carry out the wishes of the descendants,” said Mrs Petcharat.
