Mr. Ananchai Uthaiwattanachep, Director General of the Department of Labor Protection and Welfare revealed that after the Labor Ministry, General Adul Saengsiew Kaew, Labor Minister gave New Year gifts to the laborers under the concept of 9 cheerful workers. The Internet is available through the Department of Social Welfare website www.labour.go.th. The first 15 days of service (January 1-15, 2018) were filed online via the Internet, of which 137 (76%) of the respondents filed their complaint. A total of 181 labor inspectors indicated that the complaints received through the Internet were of high interest and good response as they were higher than the target. Director General of the Department of Labor Protection and Welfare added that: Providing services through the Internet will give employees more access to government services. It allows workers to be covered by the Labor Protection Law. It is convenient for employees and can apply anywhere and anytime. From the first 15 days, there were 107 users in the office hours and 30 after the office hours. Most of them were asking for the benefits of 101 wages, representing 51%, followed by work insurance, severance pay, and pay instead of advance notice while the type of business with the highest claimant is construction and sales of electrical appliances. Most applicants work in Bangkok, Nakhon Sawan, Chiang Mai and Phitsanulok provinces respectively.
