Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned his Advisory Board members to meet and discuss guidelines on taking complaints and calls through the Ministry of Labour’s 1506 hotline, and developing service systems for more efficiency, in line with target groups’ needs.
On November 5, 2020, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned Advisory Board Member to the Minister of Labour Mr. Natthawat Teeratathamrong, to chair the meeting to discuss guidelines for receiving complaints calling the Ministry of Labour’s 1506 hotline. Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Ms. Amphan Tuwwit, along with the Ministry of Labour’s senior executives and related agencies, attend the meeting at the Prof. Nikom Chandravithu Meeting Room, 5th floor, Ministry of Labour. Under the leadership of Prime Minister General Prayuth Chan-ocha, he said that the government had given importance to government agencies to develop a service system for the people, providing efficient access to government services. The Council of Ministers on December 24, 2019, therefore, passed a resolution approving the heads of government agencies and all relevant government agencies, both in central, regional areas, to check, improve and solve various problems of the service center and hotline, to provide services to the people more efficiently and effectively. In the Ministry of Labour, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin has assigned the Advisory Board Member to discuss how to receive complaints and calls through the Ministry of Labour’s 1506 hotline. The goal is to enhance service levels for target groups, including the employers, employees, insured workers, migrant workers, and the general public, who wants to file complaints about labour issues and services, to develop and improve the service system to be more efficient.
Mr. Natthawat continued that the meeting today considered the approach to providing services, answering questions, receiving complaints/grievances, and calls through the Ministry of Labour’s 1506 hotline, which is currently in service 24 hours a day, every day, not exempt from official holidays.
