Labour Minister Observes Sea Fish Farming Training to Build Careers and Income for the Community Economy

The Labour Minister observed the vocational training course in sea fish farming to further build a career, raise income and build the community economy.
          On September 23, 2021, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin visited and observed the vocational training course in sea fish farming via video conference at the Saengsingkaew meeting room, 5th floor, Ministry of Labour. Assistant to the Labour Minister Mr. Surachai Chaitrakulthong, Assistant Minister from the Prime Minister’s Office, Mr. Pornsak Charoenprasert, the Labour Minister’s Advisor, Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan, Secretariat to the Labour Minister Mr. Suthep Chitvong, Police Major General Nantachat Supamongkol from the Office of the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, performing duties for the Ministry of Labour, the Ministry of Labour’s Spokesperson (on politics) Mrs. Thienrat Navamawat, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol and the Ministry of Labour’s senior executives also joined the occasion at the Ministry of Labour’s area.
          Mr. Suchart said that he and the executives from the Department of Skill Development visited the area at Koh Si Sang District to acknowledge the need for training to improve sea fish cage farming skills and extend and support animal husbandry’s occupation to raise income and the community economy. He assigned the Department of Skill Development’s Chonburi Institute of Skill Development 3 to coordinate and invite relevant agencies to analyze and develop additional vocational training courses in sea fish farming. The training was piloted at the Koh Sichang Marine Animal Bank Learning Center for sustainable communities under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, Koh Sichang, Chonburi Province.
          The Labour Minister added that he would like to appreciate and thank the working groups from all sectors for coordinating and integrating the work in the area, quickly responding to the need for professional skill development. He asked that all trainees gather knowledge, experience, and skills from the lecturer and apply this to their careers to raise income to support themselves and their families to continue to have a good quality of life.
