Today, he took the opportunity to visit the Din Daeng market area to follow up on the implementation of the “Section 33 We Love Each Other” project to acknowledge obstacles from vendors and stores participating in the project, including insured persons about their experience spending on the “Pao Tang” application. The survey found no problems and was in good order. The Labour Minister instructed the Social Security Office to appoint a working group to inspect the participating stores/establishments in the area, process complaints, and gather facts in cases where complaints/ whistleblowing has been made that may violate the terms of the project, such as raising the price of the product. He also urged the working group to keep an eye on the cash disbursement to prevent any wrongdoing. For the “Section 33 We Love Each Other” project, he warned insured persons and shops to not believe advertisements that violate the conditions without spending on the purchase or exchange for cash, because in addition to the fraud merchants deducting a percentage, the insured persons will not receive the full benefits and it is considered corruption which may lead to disqualification or prosecution.
