Labour Minister Visits Rights Review Coordination Center for Section 33 We Love Each Other Project in Chonburi and Urges Insured Persons to Use Rights within May 31st

          Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin led the team to Chonburi to visit the Rights Review Coordination Center’s services for the Section 33 We Love Each Other Project at the Chonburi Social Security Office. He emphasized that insured persons who have not registered or reviewed their rights to hurry and proceed within the project’s end date of May 31, 2021.

          On March 20, 2021, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin chaired the visit to the Rights Review Coordination Center for the Section 33 We Love Each Other Project at the Chonburi Social Security Office. Assistant to the Labour Minister Mr. Surachai Chaitrakulthong, the Labour Minister’s Secretariat Mr. Suthep Chitavavong, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol, and the Ministry of Labour’s executives also joined the occasion. The Labour Minister said that the government under the leadership of Prime Minister and Minister of Defense General Prayuth Chan-ocha, and the Ministry of Labour under the supervision of Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan, gives importance to the support and remedies to alleviate the cost of living of insured persons under Section 33. The government provided remedies of 4,000 Baht per person, whereby applicants registered online via the www.M33WeLoveEachOther.com website from February 21 to March 7, 2021. There were 8,208,286 registered users in total, whereby 622,172 people did not pass the information verification with the Department of Provincial Administration, and 168,679 people did not meet the deposit conditions of less than 500,000 Baht, leaving 7,417,435 people eligible for the program. As of March 19, 2021, at 20.00 hours, 5,020,714 people have already joined the project or 68 percent of the eligible recipients. For those who do not meet the criteria, 620,112 people have registered for the review, and there are 14,132 people registered in the absence of smartphones.

          Mr. Suchart continued that the visit to Chonburi today was to follow up on the Rights Review Coordination Center’s performance for the Section 33 We Love Each Other Project at the Chonburi Social Security Office. It found that there out of the 658,946 eligible insured persons, 614,333 have registered via the www.M33WeLoveEachOther.com website. From March 15 to 18, 2021, 44,613 insured persons have submitted requests for rights review, with 552 people without smartphones.

          The Section 33 We Love Each Other Project ends on May 31, 2021. Therefore, the Labour Minister urged insured persons who have not registered or reviewed their rights to hurry and proceed within the project’s end date of May 31, 2021.
