Labour Minister’s Advisor Emphasizes for Volunteers to use 3 Aor. 2 Sor. 1 Ror.

          The Labour Minister’s Advisor commenced the integrated workshop for labour volunteer mentors, for operational planning and integration of labour missions together, emphasizing that mentors use the 3 Aor. 2 Sor. 1 Ror. framework.

          On February 12, 2020, at 08.30 hours, Advisor to the Labour Minister Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jak Punchoopet chaired the commencement of the ” Integrated Workshop for Labour Volunteer Mentors” at Tonnam Room, 2nd Floor, Grand Tower Inn, Bangkok. He said that the Ministry of Labour realizes the importance of developing volunteer mentors to have the potential to support work following the Ministry of Labour’s policies for 2020. It is expected that those responsible for labour volunteer work, will bring the results of this seminar to develop an overview of labour volunteer work together with agencies under the Ministry of Labour, both in Bangkok and at the provincial level, to plan operations and integrate labour missions, helping towards security in the workplace, for a good quality of life, fulfilling the purpose that the Ministry set forth.

          On this occasion, the Advisor to the Labour Minister gave a lecture on “Labour volunteers as an important mechanism for driving public services in labour.” Seminar participants were informed of the direction of work in the missions of all five agencies under the Ministry of Labour, as well as creating awareness among people in the area of ​​learning exchange, applying the 3 Aor. 2 Sor. 1 Ror. principles to empower opportunities to strengthen unity and preserve them for their benefits, and volunteer work in the future.

          This seminar aimed to increase the capacity of mentors within provincial labour offices, to be efficient mentors for labour volunteers to exchange knowledge about working in a network of labour volunteers as a guideline for driving the Ministry of Labour’s missions through mechanisms. It also aimed to rehearse understandings of work procedures for the volunteers, following the action plan, and to achieve the Ministry’s objectives. There were 120 participants in the seminar, consisting of staff, mentors, and volunteers from the provincial labour office, who work in connection with the labour network, and relevant central officials and civil servants/officials, and observers.
