Labour Minister’s Advisor Visits Narathiwat to Meet Labour Volunteers and Graduates as Key to Driving Labour Missions for Career and Peace in the South

          Advisor to the Labour Minister Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jak Punchoopet visited Narathiwat and met with nearly 200 volunteers and labour graduates, a driving force of the Ministry of Labour’s mission to provide people with a career, income and good quality of life, bringing peace to south.

On November 28, 2019, at 10.00 hours, Advisor to the Labour Minister Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jak Punchoopet chaired the workshop commencement to promote the potential of the labour volunteers and graduates’ network in Narathiwat Province. The workshop took place at Than Ngoen room, Rim Nam Restaurant, Muang, Narathiwat. Deputy Governor of Narathiwat Province Mr. Pairote Jaritngam gave a welcoming speech and Narathiwat Provincial Labour Officer Mr. Boon-loi Khatilil gave a report. Heads of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour in Narathiwat and approximately 200 labour volunteers and graduate welcomed the visiting committee. Director from the Office of Inspection and Evaluation Ms. Pattraporn Samatrat also joined the occasion.
            On this occasion, Advisor to the Labour Minister Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jak Punchoopet acknowledged working guidelines, including problems and obstacles, and gave special lecture on “Labour volunteers and graduates: the driving force in the mission of the Ministry of Labour”. He said that for the people to have jobs, income and a good quality of life, is a matter that the Ministry of Labour attaches great importance to. It also promotes and supports the integration of work for government, private and public sectors, in response to government policies and to create peace in the southern border provinces sustainably. Today’s workshops are an important part of encouraging cooperation among labour volunteer and graduate networks and government agencies under the Ministry of Labour in Narathiwat Province as well as government agencies and a wide range of relevant private organizations, to drive labour missions to the people in the area efficiently, for maximum benefit to the public.
            Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jak Punchoopet highlighted that the labour volunteers and graduates in Narathiwat, which currently has 77 volunteers and 111 graduates, has been key to the branding of products from independent workers, including the invention of modern product forms to respond to consumer and target group demand. There are many channels to distribute products that are convenient to consumers, especially online media channels to create added value for products with market demand, providing people in the area with a career, income and a good quality of life.
