On 16 November 2010, Labour Section of the Royal Thai Embassy in Tel Aviv traveled to the northern part of Tel Aviv to resolve strike action staged by 10 Thai workers working in Moshav Even Giviroan. Workers refused to attend work as they were not satisfied with their employers for overly controlling them and crossing over the line. Upon their arrival, Labour Section met with Mr. Yuda, the employer, and the representative of A.R Manpower, the placement company. They were reported that the employer grows strawberry and tries to closely supervise his workers because they drink too much alcohol. Some even drink while they are working. Sometime workers can not wake up to go work in the morning. Labour Section, thus, had a talk with workers and warned them about the use of alcohol. Workers and the employer agreed to improve themselves and workers then returned to work as normal.

Labour Section sees that workers have satisfactory working conditions. They receive a salary of an approximately 40,000 Baht per month. It has, however, asked the employer to improve the workers’ accommodation, which it will come to inspect again
