MOL Commences Training for 20th Class of Mid-Level Labour Managers

          On December 4, 2020, at 11.00 hours, the Ministry of Labour’s Inspector-General Mr. Niyom Songkaew presided over the opening ceremony of the training course for the Ministry of Labour’s 20th class of mid-level labour managers and awarded certificates to the trainees at Pung-Waan Hotel Resort and Spa, Muang, Kanchanaburi. He said that the mid-level labour management course is of great importance, where the curriculum has been continuously organized every year, until the 20th class today. The training helps develop middle-level managers or executives to be qualified personnel and manage labour work efficiently. In the management of work, many problems and obstacles will inevitably occur. Therefore, good management must have a strong mind, patience, sacrifice, dedication, and work with honesty and integrity to achieve work. In addition, society at present is changing rapidly. Technological advances have given rise to new knowledge. Therefore, every government official should develop their people to keep up with the change and innovation by seeking knowledge in all dimensions, developing oneself and their work in their duties. This training is not just to be completed, where each person is different or just keeps documenting an academic performance report, without applying the knowledge gained or practicing at work. He said that the participants have developed and created a network to exchanges views and experiences, with consultation and planning to strengthen the power of driving the Ministry of Labour’s missions. Therefore, he said that he would like all trainees to apply theoretical and practical knowledge to their performance to the best of their ability.
          The training course for the 20th class of mid-level labour managers is divided into two periods. Part 1 is online training using the ZOOM program, which took place between November 23-25, 2020, and the second part is in a classroom setting (from November 27 to December 4, 2020). Trainees were civil servants at the professional level, from all agencies under the Ministry of Labour, for 49 people.
