Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin donated three cars that are not needed in government agencies to Wat Yai Suwannaram and Wat Don Ban Mai in Phetchaburi, and Wat Sa Tako in Ratchaburi, to be used in the religious affairs of Buddhism.
On February 22, 2021, at 13.30 hours, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin presided over the ceremony to donate three cars that the government does not require, consisting of a Toyota-branded private car to Wat Yai Suwannaram in Phetchaburi, an Isuzu-branded private car to Wat Don Ban Mai in Phetchaburi and a Nissan-branded passenger car to Wat Sa Tako in Ratchaburi, to be used in the religious affairs of Buddhism. Assistant to the Labour Minister Mr. Surachai Chaitrakulthong, Advisor to the Labour Minister Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan, the Labour Minister’s Secretariat Mr. Suthep Chitvong, Police Major General Nantachat Supamongkol from the Office of the Prime Minister’s Secretariat performing duties for the Ministry of Labour, Advisory Board Member to the Labour Minister Mrs. Thienrat Navamawat, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol and the Ministry of Labour’s executives also joined the occasion at the Chatumongkol meeting room, 6th floor, Ministry of Labour.
The Labour Minister said all three cars were purchased using the budget of the Social Security Fund. The cars were donated to the temples this time as a distribution of vehicles and transportation that are not required in government agencies but in usable conditions for the temples to use and the religious affairs of Buddhism.
