MOL Launches Children’s Day Activities at Ministry and Suea Pa Field

           The Ministry of Labour’s Inspector-General and spokesperson Mr. Ananchai Uthaipattanacheep revealed that Labour Minister General Sirichai Distakul has given great importance to children, who are the future workforce of the nation. For this year’s Children’s Day on Saturday 14 January at the Smart Job Center in Din Daeng, activities will start from 08.00 onwards. Activities will include knowledge sharing with children about working and professional lives, new employment technologies, channels for independent careers and workplace safety for example. There will also be fun games and contests. The event will be filled with snacks, food and drinks to ensure the children have fun whilst learning.

This year, the Ministry of Labour has joined with the Ministry of Education and public and private organizations, where activities will take place at the Suea Pa field. This year, the theme is “Following the King’s Footsteps to the Land of Happiness”.  The objective is to promote children to uphold religion, the monarchy and democracy, as well as remind the children to remain disciplined and healthy. Prime Minister General Prayuth Chan-ocha has given a slogan for Children’s Day this year; “Thai Children care about education for a stable nation”. The slogan aims to remind children to see their importance as the nation’s future workforce, which will lead the country to a stable and better future.
