On September 18-19, 2019, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suradej Waleeittikul chaired the project to enhance the capacity and develop knowledge from the Ministry of Labour’s retirees for 2019. The event took place at the Felix River Kwai Hotel, Kanchanaburi.
The project aims to create a corporate culture of tacit knowledge transfer from retirees and to enable departments to transfer and exchange the knowledge necessary to develop the work of departments to the responsible people in the next generation. Knowledge is transferred through storytelling in the topic of “Techniques for Successful Work” from representatives from all departments under the Ministry of Labour. Participants included Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suradech Waleeittikul, Director of the Labour Market Information Administration Division, Department of Employment Ms. Sukanya Phupattanakul, Director of the Pathum Thani Office of Skill Development 14, Department of Skill Development Mrs. Somporn Sriphom, Suphan Buri Labour Protection and Welfare Officer, Department of Labour Protection and Welfare Mr. Yuthakarn Oovasit and Labour Law Expert from the Social Security Office Mrs. Suchinda Aphiwatthanakun.
Civil servants and permanent employee of the Ministry of Labour and public organization personnel who will retire in 2019 participated in the project. Participants consisted of 7 people from the Office of the Permanent Secretary of Labour, 13 people from the Department of Employment, 11 people from the Department of Skill Development, 19 people from the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare, 7 people from the Social Security Office and 1 person from the Thailand Institute of Occupational Safety and Health.
