MOL Trains 22nd Batch of New Civil Servants

           The Ministry of Labour provided training to the 22nd batch of new civil servants, with a total of 93 participants in both the central and regional areas. The ministry’s senior executives met and gave an oath on the principle of a sufficient economy, to take care of the people, maintain good health, save, have a service mind, learn rules and regulations and write official letters, encompass self-improvement and be ready to adjust e to live with others.

 

           On January 21, 2019, the Labour Minister’s Advisor, Police General Suwat Chanittikul, met and gave a speech to the 22nd batch of the Ministry of Labour’s new government officials. Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Jarin Chakkaphark presided over the opening ceremony of the training of Ministry of Labour’s new officials at the Jompol P. Pibulsongkram Conference Room, 5th Floor, Ministry of Labour. The Permanent Secretary gave an address to the new government officials from all departments that have overlapping and mutual benefit. He asked that everyone adhere to the philosophy of sufficiency economy of His Majesty the King to apply in operation and take care of the public, acting with perfection through constant development and adaptation to work with others.
           Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labourม Mr. Suradej Waleeittikul and Mr. Vivat Jirapantuvanich met and talked to the 22nd batch of new civil servants of the Ministry of Labour. They asked that the new batch maintain a healthy lifestyle to perform duties until retirement, understand financial planning and savings, have a positive outlook and understand the nature of colleagues, have a service mind, smile, know their duties, learn the rules, be able to write government documents and adapt to socialize and live with others.
           The training of the 22nd batch of new government officials under the Ministry of Labour, in agencies both central and regional areas, totaling 93 people. This included 16 people under the Office of the Permanent Secretary of Labour, 2 under the Minister’s Office, 10 under the Department of Employment, 32 under the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare, 18 under the Department of Skill Development and 15 under the Social Security Office. Training content consisted of 4 sets of activities including 1) The philosophy of a good civil servant, benefits of the land and its role; consciousness of being an excellent civil servant learning about the occupation for being an outstanding civil servant with virtue from the experience of government officials who are high-level executives of all departments under the Ministry of Labour. 2) Knowledge, skills and competencies necessary for civil service operations and team building to learn the principles of writing official letters according to the regulations of the correspondence using English for communication for work; personality development for modern civil servants and team building activities to create harmony and reconcile the quality work network. 3) Knowledge and skills for maintaining balance in the 21st century for preparation for good health care and the study of the royal studies of the sufficiency economy and application for balancing one’s self 4) Social and national development for learning by lecturing on the topic Thai government officials in the 4.0 era in order to be able to apply knowledge to the development of society and the country to achieve sustainability in addition to the content of the 20-year national strategy, Thai concepts, sustainable popularity and Big Data.
