Opened, OSS Center has made history and requested work permits of Cambodian, Laos, Myanmar workers

Currently the Ministry of Labor has set up an OSS center. It started operations on February 5, 2018. There are 3 nationalities that are required to work at the OSS. There are three types of OSS:
1) Workers in marine fisheries and fish processing who have proven their nationality and have not yet proved their nationality. The card expired on November 1, 2017. The nationality verification team will be allowed to work until November 1, 2019. The unidentified nationality is allowed to work until June 30, 2018 to prove citizenship to be completed within June 30, 2018.
2) Workers grouped through employer-employee relationship screening. The pairing certificate is grouped into nationality certificates and is valid until March 31st, 2018 and will be valid until March 31st, Only a match and only work permit until 31 December 2017 will be allowed to work until 30 June 2018 to prove the nationality to be completed by 30 June 2011.
3) Workers who hold a Thai nationality card (pink card) whose work permit expires on March 31, 2018. There are both proven and non-proven cases. Workers who have proven their nationality will be allowed to work until March 31, 2020, and unenviable workers will be allowed to work until June 30, 2018.

        The OSS Center has 78 centers nationwide. There are 2 IT centers in IT Square. Laksi District and Petchakasem Tower at 1759/3 Petchakasem Road, Bangkae (near Big C Petchkasem) and 76 provinces nationwide. Documents that employers prepare are: 1. Copy of ID card 2. Copy of house registration If the employer is a juristic person, use a copy of the certificate of registration of the company and household registration. 3. DDS 1, the documents that foreign workers prepare are: 1. Match card or pink card. 2. Documents in the exit country such as CI TD. 3. Medical certificate. If the health examination workers more than 90 days, go to a health check at the hospital prescribed by the Ministry of Health. 4. Copy of social security card (if any) 5. Original work permit (if any).

         Director-General of the Department of Employment added that the OSS will be open for registration services and applications for work from February 5 to March 31, 2018. On February 5, the first day of the center’s opening, there were foreign workers. Of the 4,947 people in Cambodia, 1,843 were in Cambodia, 618 in Laos, and 2,486 were in Myanmar, and employers were urged to bring in foreign workers to work at the OSS.
