This is an issue that the government has pushed for within the UN forum, which is to hold people as the center of participatory development, following the principles of the sufficiency economy. Therefore, current global development trends cannot neglect workers’ quality of life under the context of Decent Work, which is work that ensures workers’ have good working conditions, are happy and satisfied with their work; these are considered as workers’ rights in the workplace. This aligns the direction of the draft labour master plan (2017-2020) in the next phase, which is consistent with the 12th National Economic and Social Development Framework and the development and reform according to government policy, which are determined to achieve their vision for labour to have high potential and a good quality of life. The goal reflects that the quality of working life must have balance in both parts, that is a balance between working and personal live (work life balance) that will fulfil happiness among people in the organization, promoting positive well-being and livability.
