The Labor Protection and Welfare Department organized a meeting to listen to the opinions of the Labor Party to find solutions to the labor dispute.

          Mr. Ananchai Uthaiwattanachep, Director-General of the Department of Labor Protection and Welfare revealed that The Department of Labor Protection and Welfare has organized a meeting of the Labor Party No. 2/2018 on May 24 at the Center for Development and Labor Relations, Samut Prakarn Province. The attendees included: Representatives of employers, business establishments in Samut Prakan province, and 30 government officials involved in the meeting discussed the situation in the notification of changes to employment conditions. Disputes and Labor Conflicts as well as solutions. The Department of Labor Protection and Welfare encourages the introduction of a labor-management partnership model that emphasizes the participation of employers and employees in the reduction of conflict and encourages labor relations in the workplace. It will also monitor the results of the action to summarize the analysis to prepare a guideline to prevent further amendments with the relevant parties.
          The Director General added that the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare has been stablished Labor Relations Development Center Samutprakarn province since 2003 with the mission of being the center for networking and coordinating the development of labor relations and provide labor information to workers and the general public. One of the important activities that the Center has been carrying out is Convening a network of labor parties, including employers, employees, labor unions, and labor organizations, to share experiences, opinions, and suggestions for preventing and resolving labor conflicts include guidelines for promoting labor relations in the workplace in line with changing labor, social and economic contexts.
