On 29 September 2017 at 10.00 hours, Permanent Secretary of Labour M.L. Puntrik Smiti joined the press conference to publicize the 44th WorldSkills Competition, which took place at Crystal Room 2-4 at the Century Park Bangkok Hotel. The Ministry of Labour has arranged for 26 youths to compete in 24 skills competitions to compete at the 44th WorldSkills Competition in Abu Dhabi from 14-19 October 2017. The 26 representatives will showcase Thailand’s capabilities at the global stage and promote Thai youths to view the importance of different professions in hopes promote motivation for self-development. The Ministry of Labour has hopes that the Thai competitors will bring back medals like they have done in the past.

Labour Minister General Sirichai Distakul congratulated recipients of the Thailand Labour Management Excellence Award 2017 at the Impact Arena, Exhibition and Convention Center in Muang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi.
