May 23, 2025 – Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, Minister of Labour, assigned Mr. Siraphop Duangsodsri, Assistant to the Labour Minister, to preside over the opening ceremony of “JOB FAIR 2025 @Pathum Thani”. Labour Minister Strengthens ASEAN Labour Cooperation: Meets Ministers of South Korea and Malaysia to Elevate Thai Workforce to International Standards Ahead of APEC 2025

Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, Minister of Labour, continues to advance international labour cooperation by holding bilateral meetings with Mr. Min-Suk Kim, Acting Minister of Employment and Labour of South Korea, and Mr. Steven Sim Chee Keong, Minister of Human Resources of Malaysia. These discussions took place ahead of the 2025 APEC Human Resource Development Ministerial Meeting (APEC HRDMM 2025), set to begin on May 12.             April 30, 2025 – Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, Minister of Labour, invited workers, employees, social security contributors, and the general public to attend the “National Labour Day 2025” celebration. On April 3, 2025, at 11.20 hours, Mr. Boonsong Thapchaiyut, the Permanent Secretary of Labour, gave an interview with reporters on “Protecting Workers’ Rights from the Earthquake on March 28, 2025” broadcasted on the Weekend Issues program, Pa Ngaem Attacks, Helping the Nation Integrate, on Channel 5. The interview took place at the Permanent Secretary of Labour’s Office, 7th floor, Ministry of Labour Building.

The Minister of Labor joins the cabinet in making merit by offering alms to monks on the occasion of New Year’s 2025 at the Government House.

On January 2, 2025, at 07.30 AM, Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, Minister of Labor, took part in an almsgiving activity attended by 68 monks, which was presided over by Prime Minister Paethongtarn Shinawatra and her spouse, Mr. Pitak Suksawat.  The event was held by the cabinet, the Prime Minister’s Secretary, political officials, heads of government agencies under the Prime Minister’s Office, heads of government agencies within the Government House, government officials from government agencies within the Government House, and relevant officials. The ceremony was held in unison around the lawn in front of the Thai Khu Fah Building, Government House. Ministry of Labour Wins 3 Awards for Excellent Financial and Treasury Performance for 2023 Fiscal Year

On February 24, 2025, at 09.00 hours, Mr. Boonsong Thapchaiyut, the Permanent Secretary of Labour, reported that today, the Ministry of Labour received the award for Organization with Excellence in Financial and Treasury Performance for the 2023 fiscal year, awarded by the Comptroller General’s Department, Ministry of Finance.
