Ministry of Labour Mobilizes 50 Leading Companies Offering Over 5,000 Job Openings at “JOB FAIR 2025@Pathum Thani” to Fulfill Job Seekers’ Dreams and Drive the Digital Economy

May 23, 2025 – Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, Minister of Labour, assigned Mr. Siraphop Duangsodsri, Assistant to the Labour Minister, to preside over the opening ceremony of “JOB FAIR 2025 @Pathum Thani”. The event aims to promote employment for all target groups, including students, new graduates, the unemployed, and general workers. Mr. Sibmuenchai Phothisin, the Department of Employment’s Deputy Director-General, delivered the opening report. Mr. Samat Pattamasukon, the Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour, Dr. Sansanee Saiyasanthi, Director of Pathum Thani Vocational College, and executives of the Ministry of Labour joined in the event. Mr. Somkid Chanthamrik, Governor of Pathum Thani Province, gave a welcome speech. Heads of government agencies under the Ministry of Labor of Pathum Thani Province, students, and private sector companies joined in the welcome at the Pathummas Auditorium, Pathum Thani Vocational College, Pathum Thani Province.

Mr. Siraphop Duangsodsri, Assistant to the Labour Minister, stated, “I am delighted and honoured that Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, Minister of Labour, has entrusted me to preside over the opening of ‘JOB FAIR 2025 @Pathum Thani’ today. This initiative aligns with the 20-Year National Strategy, which emphasizes enhancing national competitiveness and developing human capital. The goal is to elevate people’s quality of life across all age groups so that they become good, capable citizens with meaningful employment and sustainable well-being, in accordance with the 13th National Economic and Social Development Plan, which focuses on a ‘Progressive Society and Sustainable Value-Based Economy.’ It also supports the Ministry of Labour’s 2025 fiscal policy under the theme: ‘Outstanding Social Protection, Modern Skills Focus, Employment for All Thais, Safety Culture Promotion, and a Stable Thai Labour Economy,’ which serves as a framework for labour-related activities across all dimensions, especially in ensuring inclusive employment opportunities that meet the needs of today’s labour market.”

“This event is a collaboration between the Pathum Thani Provincial Employment Office, agencies under the Ministry of Labour, government agencies, the private sector, educational institutions, the Chamber of Commerce, the Federation of Thai Industries, and local employers. It provides the public with exposure to a variety of careers, insight into in-demand job skills, and the opportunity to apply those skills in real occupations,” Mr. Siraphop added.

Mr. Sibmuenchai Phothisin, the Department of Employment’s Deputy Director-General explained that the objective of the fair is to expand career horizons, promote employment, and develop skills aligned with the needs of the digital-age labour market. The event offers a wide range of activities for all age groups, including on-site job applications and interviews with employers from Pathum Thani and nearby provinces, featuring 50 leading companies, such as King Service Center Co., Ltd., Hi-Q Plast Co., Ltd., Maguro Co., Ltd. (Public Company Limited), One to One Professional Co., Ltd., Lumentum International (Thailand) Co., Ltd.,  with over 5,000 job vacancies, including positions such as electrical engineers, accountants, technicians, and production planners. There are live demonstrations and training in 15 freelance careers, including making camphor dolls, pop-up tissue boxes, health-focused casual shoes, and fancy keychains. The event will also host a panel discussion on “Preparing for the Digital Work Era,” career exploration exhibitions and education guidance, franchise career promotion and Food Truck showcase, product exhibitions, and sales from home-based workers, persons with disabilities, elderly workers, and inmates. There are also sales of low-cost “Blue Flag” products and OTOP goods and services from Ministry of Labour agencies, including overseas employment consultation, career counseling clinics, career aptitude testing, and career knowledge quiz activities with prizes.

The Ministry of Labour warmly invites all job seekers, students, and members of the public who are interested in employment opportunities, skills development, or finding inspiration for secondary careers to join “JOB FAIR 2025 @Pathum Thani” on May 23–24, 2025, from 08.30 to 16.30 hours.
