On August 25, 2022, at 13.30 hours, the Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Provincial Office of Social Development and Human Security organized the first meeting of the Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Social Welfare Promotion Committee, which took place at the Bueng Phraram Conference Room, 1st floor, Building 4, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Provincial City Hall. The Ministry of Labour’s Spokesperson (on politics), Mrs. Thienrat Navamawat, spoke about the case of Mr. Anukul Ratchakuna, the admin and page representative of “The Riders’ Union,” along with workers from the informal sector, who spoke at the GIG Economy Forum to call on the government to enact legislation to protect the welfare of informal workers from being exploited by their employers.
