Assistant to the Permanent Secretary of Labour Mrs. Phattana Phanfak joined the third EU-ASEAN Forum on Human Rights, which took place on November 27, 2019, in Brussels, Belgium. She represented the Chair of the ASEAN Committee on the Implementation of the ASEAN Declaration on the Protection and Promotion of the Rights of Migrant Workers (ACMW). The objective was to exchange the development of operations of specialized organizations on human rights of the ASEAN and European Union in various issues, such as the promotion of the right to express opinions. Assistant to the Permanent Secretary of Labour Mrs. Phattana Phanfak participated in parallel activities of the third EU-ASEAN Forum on Human Rights, which took place on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 in Brussels, Belgium. She represented the Chair of the ASEAN Committee on the Implementation of the ASEAN Declaration on the Protection and Promotion of the Rights of Migrant Workers (ACMW). Key activities included: 1. Consultations between the EU-ASEAN and the people sector, with the essence of exchanging operational procedures to promote human rights and submitting recommendations from the people sector to the EU-ASEAN to develop operations on issues related to the elimination of violence and discrimination against LGBTI and foreign workers.
