He then visited agencies under the Ministry of Labour, Maha Sarakham province. On February 27, 2020, at 09.30 hours, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol, commenced a workshop to review the Office of the Permanent Secretary of Labour’s plan (2020-2022). The objective is to review and improve the action plan by defining various indicators and proposing project plans for all work of agencies under the Officer of the Permanent Secretary of Labour to lead in the same direction; this is for both central and regional functions. Directors of division, centers, and workgroups, including staff from the Ministry of Labour’s agencies, totaling 110 people, joined the workshop. Secretariat to the Labour Minister visited elderly workers and work-at-home groups in Khun Tan, Chiang Rai, and viewed an exhibition on the work of self-employed professionals, strengthening skills and knowledge, creating jobs, and promoting communities with a sustainable income. On February 20, 2020, at 10.00 hours, Secretariat to the Labour Minister Lt. Gen. Nanthadet Meksawat visited elderly workers and work-at-home groups at the Pa Tan Subdistrict Health Center, Khun Tan, Chiang Rai. Mayor of Pa Tan District Mr. Natthaphong Wanson welcomed the visiting committee and sheriff of Khun Tan Mr. Wuttikorn Khamma gave a welcoming speech. At present, Pa Tan district has 1,682 older people, 120 of who study at the health center.
