Assistant Minister of Labour, Mr. Yuph Nana, and the group paid an official visit to Malaysia.

                On 3-5 February 2010, Assistant Minister of Labour (Mr. Yuph Nana) an the group consisting of Mr. Supat Kukhun, Deputy Director-General of Department of Employment, Mr. Tanawan Tongsukchot, Advisor of Minister of Labour, Mr. Sutti Sukosol, Director of Overseas Employment Administration Office, Mr.Tanet Sanitvatee, Chief officer of Songkhla Provincial Office of Employment, Miss Chuleeporn Kosin, Chief officer of Satun Provincial Office of Employment, Mr. Cherdsak Visuttikul, Chief officer of Yala Provincial Office of Employment, Miss Thipawan Tongsri, Labour Specialist (Professional Level) of Overseas Employment Administration Office paid an official visit to Malaysia in order to negotiate with government and private sector in promoting and supporting Thai labour employment as well as to survey about employment nature and working conditions in Malaysia.
                  In this visit, Mr. Singhadet Chu-umnart, Minister Counselor (labour) and Miss Prangmas Wichiensin, labour counselor of Office of Labour Affairs, Malaysia, welcomed and led the group to visit and discuss with entrepreneurs who employed Thai workers or have potential to expand Thai labour market. They also met with workers working in following workplaces;
                  1. Thai Odyssey Massage represented by Mr.Leon Chuah, Managing Partner.
                  2. Lala Thai restaurant
                  3. Thai restaurant “Doll Seafood” represented by Abdul Wahab Kamal, Manager
                  4. Thai restaurant “Man Restaurant” represented by Osman Bin Said, Manager
                  5. Vice President of Thai restaurant  Association, represented by Mr. Mustafa
                  6. Charoen Pokphand Food Group in Malaysia, represented by Mr. Supot Chokpichitchai, President.
                  All above entrepreneurs have informed about a tendency of business growth and a demand in employing more Thai workers. However, it is necessary to obtain foreign workers employment quota from Malaysian government and it is needed to be facilitated from Thai government agencies in taking Thai workers into Malaysia.
                 On this occasion, Mr. Singhadet Chu-unnart, Minister Counselor (labour) led the group to pay a courtesy visit call on H.E. Mr. Thana Duangratana, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in order to explain about the Thai workers situation in Malaysia: problems, obstacles and recommendations for Thai labour market expansion.
