Today (February 28, 2020) at 13.30 hours, Labour Minister M.R. Chatumongol Sonakul, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol and the Ministry of Labour’s committee welcomed the Austrian Minister of Digital and Economic Affairs Mr. Georg Konetzky, as head of the Austrian delegation. Special Advisor to the EECO and former Thai Ambassador to Vienna Mr. Songsak Saichuea led the Thai delegation. The Austrian delegation paid a courtesy call and to discuss cooperation in the development of skilled labour and manpower in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), including guidelines for labour cooperation between the Ministry of Labour and the Austrian Institute for Skill Development, including cooperation in the development of Thai handicrafts in the labour market of Austria and the European Union, and other cooperation. The meeting took place at the Prasong Rananant Meeting Room, 5th floor, Ministry of Labour.
