Chief Inspector-General of Labour Helps Flood Victims in Amnat Charoen

          On September 4, 2019, at 09.00 hours, the Ministry of Labour’s Chief Inspector-General Mrs. Achara Kaewgamchaicharoen and the Department of Skill Developments Inspector-General Mr. Wirat Khansorn met with heads of agencies under the Ministry of Labour in Amnat Charoen, to conduct the third round of monitoring/evaluation to follow up on the performance according to the government inspection plan for 2019. The committee monitored projects focused on 3A policies with 13 items. The Chief Inspector-General advised how to achieve the goals, with an emphasis on quality, budget disbursements completed within September 2019 and inter-department integration at the Fai Khit Kham Phra meeting room, 2nd floor, Amnat Charoen Provincial Hall.

 

 
 
          In the afternoon, Chief Inspector-General and heads of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour, managers, and staff of the Mitr Sugar Factory in Amnat Charoen visited and distributed survival bags to the people of Na Mo Ma Sub-district who were affected by floods. Many were unable to live in their own home and needed to evacuate essential items, so they came together at the Ban Non Somboon Shelter. Mueang Amnat Charoen District Chief and Na Mo Ma Sub-district Chief received the goods. The Chief Inspector-General also advised the mission of the Ministry of Labour to help victims after the floods, such as repairing electrical equipment, tools and agricultural machinery damaged by flooding.
          The Chief Inspector-General and committee traveled by truck of the Mobile Development Unit 51 into Ban Na Mo Ma, Moo 7, which was affected by the flood. There were still people who were worried about houses and property, still living in their homes. The committee distributed essential sustenance such as rice, dry foods, medicines, and drinking water to the villagers in 200 households.
